Cookie Policy
The short version. Nothing but the bare essentials runs until you say yes. Analytics and marketing are off by default, rejecting is one click and no harder than accepting, and you can change your mind whenever you like using the link at the bottom of every page.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do much the same job. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.
They are used for things like remembering a preference between visits, keeping you signed in, or counting how many people read a page.
2. Our approach
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we may only place cookies that are not strictly necessary after you have given consent. We take that seriously:
- No analytics or marketing cookie is set before you opt in — the tags are held back in the page and only activated once you consent
- Nothing is pre-ticked, and continuing to scroll or browse is not treated as consent
- Reject all is one click, in the same place and the same size as Accept all
- You can accept some categories and refuse others
- Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately
- We ask again after six months rather than assuming your answer holds forever
3. Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and are exempt from the consent requirement. They do not track you across websites and are not used for advertising.

Both are set by us, stay on your device, and are never sent to a third party.
4. Analytics — off unless you allow them
Analytics cookies tell us which pages people find useful and where they give up, so we can improve the site. They are aggregated, and we do not use them to identify you personally.
If you allow this category, the analytics provider we use may set cookies on your device. The precise names and lifetimes depend on the provider; typically these are first-party cookies lasting up to two years, which we configure down where the provider allows it. If you refuse, none are set and no data is collected.
You can also refuse at browser level using a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting, or by installing a blocker — we do not attempt to work around any of these.
5. Marketing — off unless you allow them
Marketing cookies would let us measure whether our advertising works, and show StratiVeritas content to people who have already visited us. If you allow this category, an advertising provider may set cookies and read them when you visit other sites in that provider's network.
We do not display third-party advertising on this website, and we do not allow anyone else to use data from this site for their own advertising.
6. Third-party content
Our pages are built from our own code and assets. Where a page embeds something hosted elsewhere — a font, a script library or a video — your browser has to contact that provider, which reveals your IP address to them and may allow them to set their own cookies. We keep these to a minimum and avoid them entirely on the pages you are most likely to visit.
7. Managing your choices
On this site
Use the link, which appears in the footer of every page. Your change applies straight away, and where you withdraw consent we also attempt to delete the cookies that were previously set.
In your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and browse in a private window that discards them when you close it. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean the site asks about cookies more often, but it will still work.
Complaints
Cookie rules in the UK are enforced by the Information Commissioner's Office. If you think we have got this wrong, please tell us at privacy@strativeritas.com first — and if we do not put it right, you can complain at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
8. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we add a new non-essential category, your existing consent will not carry over to it — we will ask you again.
